National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah has urged the administration to expedite their efforts in resolving the challenges faced by the residents of the Chenab region in the wake of heavy snowfall.
Acknowledging the scale of the snowfall and its adverse impact, Dr. Farooq emphasized the importance of continuous administrative intervention in restoring essential services and meeting the immediate needs of the affected communities.
Dr. Farooq praised the Government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, for its proactive measures and the extensive public outreach programs undertaken by party MLAs and Ministers during these trying times. “The swift response in clearing snow, restoring power and water supply, and ensuring the availability of ration has significantly alleviated the suffering of the people,” he remarked.
