Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha Pays Tribute to Freedom Fighters on State Foundation Day
Srinagar: In a grand ceremony, the Kashmir Raj Bhawan welcomed citizens of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram to mark the Foundation Day of the two states, celebrated on 20th February. The event was graced by the presence of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who paid homage to the great leaders and valiant freedom fighters from Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
Addressing the gathering, Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha emphasized the significance of such occasions in reinforcing the spirit of unity and commitment toward nation-building.
“Such occasions provide us an opportunity to remember that we need to discharge our duties towards the society and the country with complete dedication. I have no doubt that each one of you will act responsibly for the progress and prosperity of this great nation,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
He further expressed his vision for inclusive growth and development, ensuring that no citizen is left behind as the country moves forward.
“It has been my wish that growth and prosperity reach every individual and every household of the country. Our integrated efforts should aim to improve the economic status and empowerment of every section of society,” he added.
The developmental journey of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also highlighted in his speech, emphasizing the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, education, and economic progress in the northeastern states.
