Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today engaged with a youth delegation from the Union Territory of Ladakh as part of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s (ABVP) Rashtriya Ekatmta Yatra – Student Experience in Regional Understanding (SERU) initiative.
During the interaction, the participants shared their experiences and insights gained from visiting various regions of the country. They spoke about their exposure to different cultural, educational, and governance frameworks, which helped broaden their perspectives.
Commending the initiative, the Lieutenant Governor lauded ABVP’s efforts in fostering national integration by offering young minds an opportunity to understand India’s rich cultural heritage and democratic values. He emphasized the importance of such programs in nurturing youth leadership and strengthening the vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’
“The tour has provided a platform for the youth of Ladakh to witness the diverse yet united spirit of India, helping them recognize their role in the country’s progress,” LG Sinha remarked.
The initiative aims to promote national unity by bridging regional and cultural gaps while inspiring students to contribute to nation-building. The participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity and highlighted the valuable lessons they had learned during the tour.
