In a spiritually uplifting gathering held at Raj Bhavan today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha joined devotees and dignitaries from various walks of life to mark the grand celebration of Navkar Mahamantra Divas. The event witnessed participation from members of the Jain International Trade Organization, spiritual leaders, and officials from numerous organizations.
The Lieutenant Governor extended his warm greetings to all participants, highlighting the timeless spiritual significance of the Navkar Mahamantra, one of the most revered mantras in Jainism.
“For thousands of years, sacred mantras have guided seekers on the path of truth and divinity. Among them, the aura and spiritual essence of the Navkar Mahamantra are truly unique,” said Lt. Governor Sinha, addressing the gathering.
He described the mantra as an embodiment of inner transformation and awakening, emphasizing its universal message of love, harmony, and selfless service.
“Where there is love and harmony, there is God. True power lies in a heart full of goodwill. These are the values that uplift humanity,” he said. “The greatest purpose of life is selfless service to society and the welfare of all living beings.”
The celebration was part of a global initiative involving people from over 108 countries who participated simultaneously in the collective chanting of the mantra, promoting a powerful message of peace, unity, and self-purification.
The event inspired individuals to reflect deeply on values such as tolerance, compassion, and spiritual awareness, fostering a strong sense of universal brotherhood.
