The incident unfolded when a Swift Dzire car bearing registration number JK04J-8832, traveling from Haldiram Factory Road towards Bari Brahmana, was stopped for checking. Upon spotting the police party, the occupants of the car attempted to flee, raising suspicion. Acting promptly, the police apprehended them, leading to the discovery of the contraband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recovery and Identification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • 20 grams of heroin<\/strong> were recovered from one individual, identified as Javid Ahmed Lone, son of Bashir Ahmed Lone, a resident of Humhama, Tehsil and District Budgam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 9.78 grams of heroin<\/strong> were recovered from the second individual, identified as Shakir Ahmed Dar, son of Abdul Ahmed Dar, also a resident of Humhama, Tehsil and District Budgam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The total recovery amounted to 29.78 grams<\/strong> of heroin. Both suspects were arrested on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
