The unranked team competed against higher-ranked teams, securing a victory against Macau in one of their four matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lieutenant Governor praised the team\u2019s performance and encouraged them to strive for greater achievements in future competitions. He emphasized the need to improve ice hockey management in Ladakh, suggesting the establishment of an Ice Hockey Federation affiliated with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). He stated that this federation should be Ladakh-based and locally managed to support the sport\u2019s development and promote local talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lieutenant Governor also stressed the importance of raising ice hockey standards in Ladakh and urged the team to mentor future generations.
