He also urged the Tourism Department to install proper signages and introduce a paying guest scheme to enable local residents to participate directly in tourism activities and benefit economically.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the need for stronger visibility, Bhatti stressed that Batote should be prominently placed on the tourism map so that tourists can easily locate the destination, stay in the area, and enjoy the natural beauty of the entire Batote block.<\/p>\n<p>Director Tourism Jammu, Dr. Vikas Gupta, gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured that sincere efforts would be made to address the demands. He further informed that a tourism promotion programme is planned in Batote during the months of May\u2013June, which will include cultural activities such as a singing event to attract visitors and showcase the region.<\/p>\n<p>Shahrukh Bhatti expressed deep gratitude to the Director Tourism for his supportive approach and for considering the developmental needs of the Batote area.
