With budgetary provisions now in place, the government aims to actively support innovation, funding, and entrepreneurial development across the region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"839\">\u201cWe can learn from the experiences of other states,\u201d he said, adding that avoiding previously made mistakes elsewhere will help J&amp;K accelerate its progress.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1b4iybl\" data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"879\">Focus on Innovation Infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1178\">During a recent visit to the Government College of Engineering and Technology, Abdullah revealed that students and faculty raised a demand for establishing an incubation centre\u2014an initiative that could play a vital role in nurturing local startups and fostering innovation at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"5iwoy4\" data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1224\">Vande Bharat Train to Strengthen Tourism<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1470\">On the infrastructure front, Abdullah welcomed the launch of the direct <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\">Vande Bharat Express<\/span> service between Jammu and Srinagar, scheduled for April 30. He described the development as a significant boost to the tourism sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1707\">Highlighting the improved capacity, he noted that the previous eight-coach train operating between Katra and Srinagar will now be replaced with a <strong data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1642\">twenty-coach service<\/strong>, allowing more passengers to travel comfortably and efficiently.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1851\">\u201cIncreasing both the frequency and capacity of train services will greatly enhance connectivity and tourism potential in the region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1psfpp5\" data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"1898\">Strong Condemnation of Political Violence<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"2071\">Abdullah also condemned a recent shooting incident in Washington involving former U.S. President <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\">Donald Trump<\/span>, expressing relief that he survived.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2219\">\u201cViolence has no place in politics,\u201d he stated firmly, stressing that disagreements must always be resolved through democratic and peaceful means.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2221\" data-end=\"2476\">Reflecting on Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s own history, he pointed out the heavy toll of political violence over the past three decades, where leaders and workers from multiple parties\u2014including BJP, National Conference, Congress, and CPI(M)\u2014have lost their lives.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2478\" data-end=\"2548\">\u201cNo one understands the cost of violence better than we do,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"amdl92\" data-start=\"2550\" data-end=\"2594\">Call for Peace and Dialogue in West Asia<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2596\" data-end=\"2760\">Addressing global concerns, Abdullah urged continued dialogue amid rising tensions in West Asia, particularly in light of cancelled diplomatic talks involving Iran.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2762\" data-end=\"2923\">\u201cEven if discussions happen over the phone, they must continue,\u201d he said, advocating for sustained diplomatic engagement to ensure long-term peace and stability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2925\" data-end=\"3095\">He concluded with a call for calm and reconciliation: \u201cWhat has happened is in the past.
