Pawar also ruled out any possibility of a post-poll alliance with his estranged nephew <strong>Ajit Pawar<\/strong>, who had joined the BJP in 2023, stating that he would not associate with anyone aligned with the BJP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an exclusive interview with <strong>PTI<\/strong>, Pawar, the leader of the <strong>Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)<\/strong> and the architect of the opposition <strong>Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA)<\/strong> in Maharashtra, dismissed Modi\u2019s rhetoric of social unity and accused the ruling Mahayuti alliance of using <strong>monetary power<\/strong>, including cash transfer schemes, to influence the electorate after their poor showing in the <strong>2024 Lok Sabha elections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cPeople will reject them. They can\u2019t fool the masses with money,\u201d<\/strong> Pawar remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pawar also voiced his disapproval of <strong>Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath<\/strong>, slamming his controversial \u201cbatengain to katengain\u201d slogan, which has sparked criticism even from some BJP allies and leaders, including <strong>Ajit Pawar<\/strong>, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar referred to Adityanath and others in the BJP as individuals who promote <strong>communalism<\/strong> and claimed they are doing a disservice to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pawar\u2019s Response to Modi\u2019s Criticism of Opposition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When questioned about <strong>PM Modi\u2019s accusations<\/strong> that the opposition is dividing society along caste lines, Pawar hit back, saying that it is <strong>Modi<\/strong> himself who is deepening societal divisions. Modi has been urging people to unite under the <strong>BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP<\/strong> alliance, calling for social cohesion and rejecting the alleged appeasement politics of the opposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cHe (Modi) is the prime minister, but his actions are divisive. They are now throwing money at the issue, but it won\u2019t work.
