On October 16, 2026, Jammu welcomed its first BestSound Center 3.0, an initiative by Hearing Help Pvt Ltd in collaboration with global hearing care leader WS Audiology. This center aims to improve the accessibility of hearing solutions for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
Located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, the new center represents a significant shift in how hearing care is approached, transitioning from a clinical focus to a more personal experience. This launch highlights WS Audiology’s commitment to providing world-class hearing care across India, following a successful establishment in Bangalore earlier this year.
The opening ceremony featured a notable charitable gesture when WS Audiology teamed up with the Suryoday Foundation to donate 150 hearing aids to 75 underprivileged individuals in the region. This initiative reaffirms their shared vision of making hearing solutions accessible to all. “Access to hearing care shouldn’t be determined by where you live or what you can afford,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, the Managing Director and CEO of WSA India.

The **BestSound Center 3.0** incorporates a unique design that prioritizes consumer needs, offering various spaces for diagnostics, consultations, product trials, and comprehensive aftercare. This environment encourages families to interact freely, breaking away from the traditional clinical setting.
Each visitor at the Jammu center can experience advanced diagnostics and personalized fitting services, supported by well-trained professionals. This proactive engagement aims to demystify hearing care and provide individuals with the necessary tools for improvement.
The incorporation of both Signia and Widex brands sets the center apart, offering varied hearing solutions tailored to personal preferences. Mr. Pawar emphasized the importance of accessibility and customized care, highlighting that, “With BSC 3.0, people in Jammu & Kashmir now have access to the same standard of care available worldwide.”

This newly established center is not just an achievement in infrastructure but also a necessary step toward addressing a pressing public health challenge. The World Health Organization estimates that around 63 million people in India live with significant hearing impairment. Hearing loss, often overlooked, poses serious challenges to personal and professional relationships.
Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd, remarked, “Since 2019, we have seen many individuals from Jammu & Kashmir travel to bigger cities for better hearing care or opt to live without it. Our collaboration with WSA provides the community with unmatched expertise and technology right at their doorstep.”
The donation of hearing aids directly impacts lives. Trained professionals assessed the needs of beneficiaries and ensured they received the appropriate devices. Each individual now has access to an enhanced auditory experience, which is pivotal for communication and community involvement.
“Hearing care should be accessible to everyone who needs it, not just to those who can afford to walk into a center,” added Mr. Pawar, reinforcing the center’s mission to bridge gaps in health care across the region. The ongoing support pledged to beneficiaries aligns with the center’s vision of continuous improvement in hearing care services.
Efforts do not stop here; there are plans to launch awareness campaigns and screening camps throughout Jammu and adjoining areas. Both organizations are committed to encouraging proactive measures towards hearing health among community members. The combined action of WS Audiology and Hearing Help marks an essential chapter in improving health outcomes for residents.
This venture not only redefines hearing care but also paves the way for future health initiatives aimed at enriching community life in Jammu & Kashmir by emphasizing the importance of hearing health.
